These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TriboFit, a social sports app for finding and organizing local events, joining groups, and connecting with people who want to train or play. By creating an account or using TriboFit, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use TriboFit. Registration requires a date of birth, and we do not knowingly allow accounts for children under 13.
Your account
You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your password secure. Provide accurate information when you register, and let us know if you believe your account has been compromised.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
TriboFit has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. By using TriboFit you agree not to, and not to help anyone else:
- Post or share content that is illegal, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, threatening, violent, or otherwise objectionable.
- Harass, bully, stalk, intimidate, impersonate, or abuse another user.
- Post spam, scams, or fraudulent content, or misrepresent who you are.
- Share another person's private information without their consent.
- Use TriboFit for any unlawful purpose, or to organize events or activities that put others at risk.
Reporting and blocking
Every event, comment, profile, group, and photo in TriboFit can be reported directly from the app — look for the report option in that item's menu. You can also block another user from their profile at any time; blocking immediately cuts off friendship, pending friend requests, and notifications between you and that user. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, and we take action on violations of these Terms — up to and including removing content and permanently banning accounts.
Enforcement
If you violate these Terms, we may remove the offending content, suspend or permanently ban your account, and take any other action we consider appropriate. We aim to act on reports promptly. Banning ends your participation in other people's events and groups, and prevents you from creating a new account with the same email address.
Content you post
You retain ownership of the content you post (events, comments, photos, profile information). By posting it, you give TriboFit a license to store, display, and distribute it within the app to the other users it's meant for (e.g. other participants in an event or members of a group). You're solely responsible for the content you post and for having the rights to share it.
Events and in-person activities
TriboFit helps people organize and discover sports and fitness events, but we are not a party to those events and don't supervise them. You participate in any event, and meet any other user, entirely at your own risk. Use good judgment, especially when meeting people from the app in person for the first time.
Termination
You may stop using TriboFit and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your access to TriboFit if you violate these Terms, or if we're required to do so by law.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
TriboFit is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TriboFit and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including anything that happens at an event or activity organized through it.
Changes to these Terms
If we make material changes to these Terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use TriboFit after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
